With over 18 years of experience and more than 1,283 homes sold across Middle Tennessee, Jody Derrick is a trusted REALTOR®, Broker, and founder of Patio Realty, a Nashville-based firm built on one core principle: Built on Trust, Focused on You.
Jody began his real estate career in 2007 and quickly discovered the deep satisfaction that comes from helping clients achieve their homeownership goals. From first-time buyers to those ready for their next chapter—whether moving up or downsizing—Jody believes every journey is personal and every client deserves dedicated, one-on-one service.
For 15 years, Jody served as Broker-of-Record and Sales Manager for a respected boutique homebuilder, where he led thousands of transactions valued at over $319 million. This hands-on experience gave him a rare lens into the entire real estate process—from financing and inspections to navigating complex negotiations—allowing him to guide clients with confidence and clarity.
In 2024, Jody launched Patio Realty to offer a personalized real estate experience rooted in integrity, communication, and local expertise. He holds advanced designations including GRI, ABR, SRES, and ePRO, and is an active member of Greater Nashville Realtors, Tennessee Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee.
